17th August 2022 — First container to Uganda

We packed a second 40ft container for Uganda on 17 August 2022 (19 hospital beds, an ECG machine, an Ultrasound machine, etc). We packed it in Melbourne for Hope Comprehensive Medical Centre, which has two facilities, a hospital facility and a teaching hospital in Kampala and Gulu.

This much needed medical equipment will help transform many lives in Uganda.

We thank our donors and partners: Maldon Hospital and MedEarth for donating the medical equipment and facilitating the logistics, Castlemaine Honey for donating the use of their truck and their staff in transporting the equipment to Melbourne.

Many thanks to all our volunteers, we could not do this without you.

This is our fourth project with MedEarth and first with both Maldon Hospital and Castlemaine Honey.
